Rare 19th Century Large Oval Staffordshire W. Adderley Blue Willow Fish Platter. This Blue Willow platter is a one of a kind piece that is coveted by collectors and rarely (if at all) comes to the public for sale. A beautiful piece to add to any early blue & white stoneware dinner service collection. Maker: WAA (William Alsager Adderley & Co), Staffordshire, England (King's Crown back-stamp). Pattern: Blue Willow - This pattern is also known as the "three-man" willow pattern that includes deep blue colors, a beautiful Chinese home with a willow tree, small bridge with 3 figures, a humble servants house at the foot of bridge, a small Chinese boat and love birds above the willow tree. This is one of the oldest versions.

Condition: Very good condition given the age and use. Wear from light use including: Light stray scratches on surface, very light brown tan discoloration on surface in small spots here and there mostly under the upper rim area, and Light fine age crazing which does not detract from the beauty of this platter.
