Royal Crown Derby 17.75 rectangular platter, lobe handle ends, circa 1875. Tagged on reverse, Circa 1875. This large rectangular platter is in a solid carmine/red color, of vines around the edges pointing inward to the center of the platter. Gold rim around the outer edge with ribs that extend in and across the lobed handle ends on the long side.

Shows marks on the top from light usage. No pattern loss that I could find on the top. In addition to the Royal Crown mark, the reverse is marked 2860 on the bottom, near the foot - see our photos.

Condition Notes: Very Fine used condition. A few utensil marks on the front surface. Spot on the back that looks as if a tag was scraped off. A paper card fastened to the back with cello tape: I didn't remove to check for any condition issues beneath the card. Measures: 17.75" x 13.75".
