France White Asparagus Serving Platter w/ Raised High Gloss Pattern RARE Antique. Description : Being offered is an incredibly unique, ornate, and now very rare piece from P. Images of asparagus stalks decorate the central "basket" while a floral motif highlights the perimeter and handles. A pair of deep wells contain the juices. Transporting is safe and easy by either the handles or the deeply recessed side panels. The oversized oval feet stabilize and elevate the entire platter drawing attention to the obvious work of art it is. Condition : Near MINT in every manner. There is a single what appears to be small glazing defect as shown in image 4. There are also a few microscopic bubbles under the glaze. That said, there are NO chips, cracks, crazing, scratches, stains, repairs, water marks, discoloration or any other cosmetic issues.

The word " France " is incised in the green ware and the black bottom stamp is clear, legible, and reads P. Made in France Even the rough exposed vitreous china or ceramic bottom edges that normally show some scuffing and/or discoloration remain relatively clean.
