This exquisite Jean Pouyat Limoges platter is a stunning piece of antique pottery from France. With a diameter of 12 3/4" and a length of 13 3/4", it features a beautiful floral pattern of pink roses and heavy gold trim. The platter is made of high-quality porcelain and is an original piece from the early 1900s. The backstamp is printed and the production technique is pottery. Made exclusively for Wanamaker's Department Store which started business in Philadelphia in 1861. Sadly this store closed in 1996. This item and it is in excellent shape.
